Activating the App Designer
You activate the App Designer in SmartWe in the Administration app.
Requirements
- To work with the App Designer, you have to have been granted the necessary rights.
You also need either administrator rights for SmartWe or permission to use the App Designer.
- You opened SmartWe in the browser.
Note
When activating the App Designer, a completely new session is started.
So any apps you have open will be closed. In the process, any data you have not saved will be lost. Please check whether you have saved all opened data records before you activate the App Designer.
Starting the App Designer
- Open the Administration app.
- Click the App Designer.
- In the Session block, click Activate.
- The App Designer is immediately activated.

In the Administration app, you can define different settings using the App Designer.
