Data source (contact person list or link list)

For a Contact person list or a Link list, the data source can be, for example, a dossier or the last used data records.

Function	Description
	Click this button to remove the current data source.
	Click this button to select an entry from the list. All the data sources that are available for the opened app are displayed in the list.
	Click this button to edit the data source. Different settings options are available depending on the type of selected data source. You can find more information on the individual fields in the description of how to create data sources.
	Click this button if you wish to enter another data source. Available data sources Dossier A complete dossier or one which is reduced to a specific data record type is created. Possible settings: Name, Restricting data record types All data records All data records are taken into account. Possible settings: Name, Data record type, Query parameters, Customizing filters, Sorting Linked data records Only the data records which are linked with the opened data record are taken into account. Possible settings: Name, Data record type, Query parameters, Customizing filters, Sorting Last used data records The data records that were last opened or edited are taken into account. Possible settings: Name, Data record type, Query parameters, Customizing filters
