Creating a Badge or Badge (Field)

The following describes how you insert a badge. You will see which functions are available when creating a field in the Functions section.

 
Note

The Badge and Bade (Field) fields are only available for the Summary element.

Summary

Procedure

  1. Activate the App Designer.

  2. Activating the App Designer

  3. In the app of your choice, open a data record in read or editing mode.
  4. Click Customize in the toolbar of the App Designer.
  5. In the Summary element, click the button on the right-hand side.
  6. Select Badge if you wish to enter a static text, or Badge (Field) if you wish to embed a text from a database field as a badge.
  7. The badge is then inserted with the label empty and can then be configured.

Functions

When creating an element you do not need to change any settings. The element is entered immediately using the default settings. To change the settings, click the element.
