Creating a progress bar

The following describes how you can create an element. To see which functions are available when creating an element, see the section on Functions.
Procedure
- Activate the App Designer in the Administration app
- In the app of your choice, open a data record in read mode.
- Tip
You can also insert this element into a dashboard.
- Click Customize in the toolbar of the App Designer.
- When you are at the location at which you wish to insert a new element, click the respective button to insert the new element, for example, Extend z-layout.
- Select Progress bar.
- Fill in the fields and click Apply.
- The element is inserted. If necessary, you can move the element to another position.
Functions
Value
Define the appropriate value.
For a Progress bar, you enter an integer between 0 and 100. Numbers above 100 are automatically changed to 100. Floating point numbers are cut off after the point and not rounded off.
For a Business metric, you select the value from the list or enter a new value.
Color
You can customize the color. To do so, enter a hexadecimal value or select a color from the color palette.
