Creating a progress bar

The following describes how you can create an element. To see which functions are available when creating an element, see the section on Functions.

Procedure

  1. Activate the App Designer in the Administration app
  2. In the app of your choice, open a data record in read mode.
  3.  
    Tip

    You can also insert this element into a dashboard.

  4. Click Customize in the toolbar of the App Designer.
  5. When you are at the location at which you wish to insert a new element, click the respective button to insert the new element, for example, Extend z-layout.
  6. Select Progress bar.
  7. Fill in the fields and click Apply.
  8. The element is inserted. If necessary, you can move the element to another position.

Functions

Value

Define the appropriate value.

For a Progress bar, you enter an integer between 0 and 100. Numbers above 100 are automatically changed to 100. Floating point numbers are cut off after the point and not rounded off.

For a Business metric, you select the value from the list or enter a new value.
