Creating an exteded item list

The following describes how you can create an element. To see which functions are available when creating an element, see the section on Functions.

Procedure

  1. Activate the App Designer in the Administration app
  2. In the app of your choice, open a data record in read- or edit mode.
  3. In the app of your choice, open a data record in read mode.
  4. Click Customize in the toolbar of the App Designer.
  5. When you are at the location at which you wish to insert a new element, click the respective button to insert the new element, for example, Extend z-layout.
  6. Select the Extended item list.
  7. The element is inserted. If necessary, you can move the element to another position.

Functions

When creating an element you do not need to change any settings. The element is entered immediately using the default settings. To change the settings, click the element.

 
Tip

If you wish to embed the Extended item list for a data record type which is not an opportunity, then you have to configure the element accordingly after insertion.
