Editing the Extended item list

You edit an element by clicking the element.

Data source (Extended item list)

For the item list in opportunities, the data source for an Extended item list is named Items and should not be changed. If you select another data source, then the opportunity items are not longer displayed.

If you have created an Extended item list for another data record type, or you would like to offer additional item lists in an opportunity, then you are free to select the data source.

Function

Description

Click this button to remove the current data source.

Click this button to select an entry from the list.

All the data sources that are available for the opened app are displayed in the list.

Click this button to edit the data source.

Click this button if you wish to enter another data source.

Item name

Select the item field that you wish to display as the Item name. Item name is always displayed in the first column of the extended item list.

Additional information

In the Additional information field you can select another field which is displayed in the first column. The additional information is displayed in brackets after the item name.

Columns

In the Column field, select any additional fields you wish to display as columns in the extended item list.

First total field

The first total field can be displayed below the table. You can choose from all the fields with numerical values, for example, Quantity or Customer discount for product items.

Second total field

The second total field is displayed below the first total field. You can choose from all the fields with numerical values, for example, Quantity or Customer discount for product items.

Additional value

The content of the Additional value field is displayed the end of the table. You can choose from all the data record fields into which the extended item list can be inserted.

Display item numbers

If you activate the Display item numbers option, then the respective item number is displayed for each item in the first column.

Highlighting the last column

When you enable this option, then the last column is fixed in place and always displayed. Thus, the column is also displayed even if the window is too narrow to display all the fields.

Maximum height

In the Maximum height field, you can define the maximum pixel height for the extended item list. If despite setting a maximal height, not all of the items can be displayed, then a scrollbar is displayed.

Placeholder text

The Placeholder text is displayed if the list is empty. You can individually customize the placeholder text.

Function

Description

With this button, you remove the current header.

With this button, you select a header. In the list, you can find all texts available for the open app.

With this button, you change the text of the header.

 
Note

This text may appear in different locations. If you edit the text, it will be changed in all locations.

System texts cannot be edited.

Using this button, you can enter a new text.

  • The Key (ID) field is completed automatically and you do not have to change it.
  • You can enter the text in any of the languages which are available in SmartWe.

Device classes

In the Device classes field, you can define the types of devices on which the elements can be displayed.

Option

Description

Mobile

The element is displayed in the SmartWe Mobile App.

Web

The element is displayed in SmartWe in the browser.

Visible

With the Visible option, you define whether the element should be displayed.

SmartWePremium

With this button, you can also enter a script to individually define the visibility.

Enabled

With the Activated option, you define whether the element is activated or deactivated.

If you clear the checkbox and thus disable the element, it will be displayed in read mode only. If buttons are available for the element, they will be displayed grayed out.

The Activated option is only available in the editing mode of a data record.

SmartWePremium

This button allows you to enter a script as an alternative if you want to individually control the activating and deactivating of the element.

Only readable

With the Only readable option, you define whether the element can be edited or is displayed in read mode only.

If you activate this option and the element is displayed in read mode only, any existing buttons will be completely hidden.

The Only readable option is only available in the editing mode of a data record.
