Creating and customizing settings pages

You can create your own settings pages for apps in the Settings app and the Administration app. These settings pages are available for custom apps and for apps included in SmartWe by default.

 
Note

To be able to create a settings page, you need to first create a settings scheme for the corresponding app.

Creating new settings pages

  1. Open the Settings or Administration app.
  2. Click New page in the App Designer toolbar.
  3. Select the desired app.
  4. If you want, you can upload a custom Icon.

  5. If you do not upload an icon, a placeholder icon is displayed.

  6. Click Apply.
  7. If required, customize the Key (ID) value of the page and enter the desired translations.
  8. Click Apply.
  9. The settings page is created. New pages are always displayed below the available pages.
 
Tip

You can retroactively change the name and icon of the page. To do so, activate the App Designer and click the button next to the page name.
