Summary
Displays a summary of data from the respective data record type. The summary can be compiled individually for every data record type.

Use
- The element is available for all data record types.
- The element is available when in the edit mode for a data record.
- The element is available when you are in the read mode for a data record.
- The element is available for dashboards.
Appearance in the App Designer
The Summary element is used in contact data records to display the business card. In the following example, you will see a contact, the way the contact appears has been configured automatically.
The summary is only preconfigured for contacts and not other data record types.
